The 9th Digital China Summit was successfully held in Fuzhou, focusing on the innovative application and industrial advancement of digital and intelligent technologies across urban development sectors. Huang Xiaojia, Chief Engineer of China IPPR and National Master of Engineering Survey and Design, was invited to participate in the summit’s themed exchange event — “Practice and Development of Digital & Intelligent Fire Protection”.

▲Hosted by Fujian Fire and Rescue Bureau, the “Practice and Development of Digital & Intelligent Fire Protection” themed forum gathered industry experts and practitioners to share cutting-edge technologies and practical experience in intelligent fire safety development.
During the session, Huang Xiaojia analyzed the future development trends and technical standards for smart fire protection systems, and introduced China IPPR’s independent technological achievements, covering urban smart fire protection management systems, intelligent automatic sprinkler technologies, and full-cycle smart fire operation and maintenance solutions. He highlighted the practical value of the company’s self-developed three-dimensional dynamic quantitative fire risk assessment technology, especially its innovative application in urban renewal and old community renovation projects.

China IPPR has accumulated rich R&D and practical experience in the smart fire protection sector. Since 2016, the company has carried out in-depth research on intelligent fire safety technologies and platform development, and undertaken multiple key research projects at provincial and municipal levels. It has successfully developed and delivered landmark platforms including the Guangdong provincial fire monitoring and early warning system, and the comprehensive fire big data application platform for Foshan Fire and Rescue Command Center. Centering on proactive safety management, China IPPR’s technical system promotes the industry shift from passive post-disaster disposal to active pre-risk prevention and control, realizing source governance of urban fire hazards and providing reliable safety guarantees for high-quality urban operation.

China IPPR has independently developed core equipment including dual electric-thermal driven sprinklers, signal repeaters and intelligent controllers, as well as customized testing devices such as dynamic RTI testing equipment and multi-dimensional sprinkler discharge density testing systems for intelligent automatic sprinkler systems. Adopting dual electric and thermal dual-trigger activation modes, the new-generation sprinkler equipment achieves significantly faster response speed. Even with 30% lower water discharge density compared with conventional products, it maintains equivalent fire-extinguishing performance for standard fire scenarios, greatly improving the overall operational reliability and resource efficiency of automatic fire extinguishing systems.

As a key supporting institution for multiple industry associations, China IPPR has been accredited as one of the first batch of Smart Fire Protection Innovation Bases. As a pioneering technical force in domestic fire safety engineering, the company has formed a sustainable development model integrating scientific research, standard formulation and engineering application. Moving forward, China IPPR will continue to deepen technological innovation and engineering promotion of digital and intelligent fire protection technologies, empowering systematic upgrading of urban fire safety management and public safety infrastructure nationwide.
